Over the last 50 years, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and its predecessors have played a critical role in enhancing Singapore’s human capital, contributing towards its economic and social development. As countries worldwide recognised the importance of skills and investing in TVET, there is a growing interest to learn from ITE’s transformation story. ITE Education Services (ITEES) was thus incorporated as a wholly owned consultancy arm of ITE in 2003, to provide consultancy and training services in TVET. ITEES started by offering short customised training programmes but today it is well sought after for turnkey consultancy projects including the setting up of training institutes and provision of advisory services to governments in transforming their TVET systems. ITEES’ contributions and services have meaningfully impacted people and TVET organisations from diverse cultures and nationalities from more than 25 countries, spanning across Asia, Africa, Middle East and Latin America. We have significantly helped our TVET partners raised their labour productivity, increased the employability of their youths and adults, enhanced their economic and business competitiveness and transformed the lives of thousands of individuals.
